Good Sensitivity and OK For High Listening Height

Looking for ideas on speakers (monitor or floor standing ok...price new or used under $1000/pair) for a small room (11 x 14 x 8) with good sensitivity (ie. about 90 dB or more since using a 30 wpc pure class A amp) and good dynamics for mostly classical rock. Often I listen while working at a desk with my ears 50" above the floor so I don't want the stereo images way down at floor level.
I've thought about Klipsch Heresy II or Forte II on 12" stands but they really need the floor loading to sound their best so this wouldn't be an ideal solution. Thanks in advance for all suggestions.
