Firewire DAC with best soundstage for $500-1000

I'm looking for a dac to connect to my MacMini music server that excels in throwing a clear and big soundstage - and is on the warm side (e.g. removes digital hash).

Suggestions?

Firewire based DAC's do not exist at that price point.

At that price point I would be looking at an Audio GD DAC:
