Goatwuss, i jumped into hi-fi with a couple (biamped) LPA-1's which was their first round offering @ 125W x 7 and the LMC-1 pre/pro. The amps were pretty good sounding, the value for the dollar is high for what you get. I still run the pre/pro from them and it works fine for home theater. Heard good things about the 2 channel pre and amp that the OP is asking about.
