DVD-A and MLP Meridian Lossess Packet

are all DVD-A based on MLP?

Some of the players such as Arcam has MLP logo on it, what does it mean? as opposed to the ones that don't have it, yet have DVD-A capability.

MLP is the DVD-A standard for lossless data compression, and all DVD-A players implement it.
