Coax or RCA question?

I would guess the Marantz has a better DAC… so I would start there.  Then after you have a lot of hours of listening switch.

Thank you @ghdprentice! That was my thought as well but Integra is the higher end of Onkyo. So I wanted to get some opinions/advice from the experts here. The problem is I truly have to turn into a contortionist to make any tweaks in behind my rig. It really sucks so I really try to “get it right first time” LOL! The Marantz has both digital and analogue inputs so you can use both at the same time and switch on the fly and get direct comparison.

The DAC in the 8802 leaves a lot to be desired. I used an external DAC with mine. Your mileage may vary as everything is a matter of personal taste.  Ultimately, you are going to have to hear for yourself. 

Good choice, I have Onkyo CDC 3.4 mark II, and like it's sound very much, however it does not play SACD's, so I found another for my main system and use the Onkyo in another system.

From my listening/comparing to 8 other players, I would start with the Onkyo, expect to be very happy, if not, then hire a contortionist teenager.
