Widescreen Review did a review of the CAL SSP, VSW video switch, and MCA multichannel amp(http://www.widescreenreview.com). I think Audiogon users don't regard them very highly as reviewers, but that's the only review I've seen. Because the SSP and VSW are separate units, it works out to be a relatively expensive setup (list ~$7k). California Audio CL-2500 SSP
Is anyone familiar with this preamp/processor or has anyone seen a review somewhere? I don't think any of the magazines have done a review yet but I thought I saw a review on the web somewhere but I don't remember the site. It seems to be a good choice for someone looking for a good audio preamp as well as a surround sound processor.
