I had previously purchased two Blue Circle MKII Noisehounds, but found that they noticeably limit the music dynamics. And unfortunately, they were also non-refundable.
I've had far better results using the "Quantam ElectroClear". They produce a quieter background, enlarge the soundstage, and make the music sound much more natural.
I feel the ElectroClear's are worth looking into as an alternative to the Noisehounds.
