British Invasion covers many "styles" of british rock in the 60s including mainstream/rock-Beatles, R&B/rock-Rolling Stones, merseybeat-Hollies, mods-Who etc........but if you want to talk about smaller groups I like Yardbirds with their psychedellic/blues rock sound, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck playing classics like "heartful of soul" "for your love".....
