I guess my online search messed up. Still wondering if this will add distortion into the cable.
AES to s/pdif converter
My BelCanto streamer does not play anything over 24/96 through the s/pdif cable. The company told me it would if I used the AES output, but my DAC will only take optical or s/pdif. I see there are AES to s/pdif converters out there for $30 to $700. [Aurender] Does anyone have experience in this matter?
