Connect it to a preamp and let it play on repeat for about a month. During the first 300 hrs, depending on taste, the sound may seem too forward and dry. Judge only after another 300 hrs. Mine has over 600 hrs and is still improving has yet to reach the seductiveness I was expecting when purchasing.

What's the best way to burn in a Audio Aero Capitol Mark II a CD containing music on repeat or the XLO burn in CD on track 8 repeated? If both ways are done would it have any benefits? How many hours should I run it for and sonic changes I should expect during this process? does this player sound a bit forward before fully broken in compared to the broken in Mark I Capitol?
