HiDiamond Power cords...
Jazz, I tried the original LessLoss power cable several years ago, long before my adventures with HiDiamond. I was not impressed, and after a few weeks I sold it. Who knows, maybe I never gave it a chance. I never tried another LessLoss product, s...
Ripping CD's - Bypassing Computer CD Player

HiDiamond Power cords...
I don't think the P4 preferentially improves hi-current components over low current or source devices. Beyond sheer current delivery, the P4 really excels at image solidity, nuance, and low noise. These traits yielded exceptional results with my C...
HiDiamond Power cords...
My thoughts - upgrade to P4 wherever you can. This provides the foundation for the HiDiamond sound. I realized that the full potential of all their other cables was only really revealed with that P4 foundation. I now have 7 P4's, one to each compo...

Anyone know who sources the carbon-fiber plugs on HiDiamond's upper end gear (specifically the P4)?
HD Tracks- Kind of Blue
I agree. Finally a KoB without the high end edge that made the cymbals overbearing on all previous iterations. Still shows the limitations of the recording, but very listenable.
Hi-Fi Fuses - SNAKE OIL? - or something in it?
Very nicely stated, Lacee.
Magnetic Isolation
Wow, what a dismissive barrel of "responses" to the OP's honest question.I have tried the Spike Sound Will supports, under my Marantz SA-7s1 player (48 lbs) and my 2-chassis Cary preamp. Spent a few weeks with them, but ultimately removed them. Th...
Anyone try the Bryston BDP-2 or the BDA-2 Dac
I found both the Synergistic and the AMR fuses sounded very nice in the Brystons, each with its own strengths. The AMR fuses definitely were fuller in the mid-bass and a tad softer up high, in a very pleasing manner in my system. Sweet but not sug...
Anyone try the Bryston BDP-2 or the BDA-2 Dac
Smatsui, see my post from 9/7 re: fuses. And I agree with you that WAV sounds better than FLAC (at least on my Brystons) More space, deeper soundstage. I know we give up "tagging" and other info with WAV, but ultimately it's about the sound. (And ...
Anyone try the Bryston BDP-2 or the BDA-2 Dac
Congrats!!Be patient on the break-in. It will start to open up after 3-4 days, but quite a bit longer for full bloom. I'd get that P4 in there sooner than later, though.A good site for info is the Bryston Audiocircle discussion forum.http://www.au...
Anyone try the Bryston BDP-2 or the BDA-2 Dac
Ozzy, the AMR fuses can be purchased from the US distributer, Avatar Acoustics in Georgia. Nice folks.
Anyone try the Bryston BDP-2 or the BDA-2 Dac
Ozzy, the Hifi Tuning Supreme fuses, althouth nice and airy, give up too much deep bass. This was especially apparent in live recordings with ambient "room rumble" which was lost with the Supremes. It was very noticeable when I switched to the HD ...
Anyone try the Bryston BDP-2 or the BDA-2 Dac
It's all about the "supporting staff" with the Bryston's. I would not consider them "world-class" with stock power cord and fuses. With high caliber PCs, digital cable and IC's, as well as AMR or Synergistic (but not HiFi Tuning or Furutech) fuses...
DAC Recommendation around 2.5K
Bryston BDA-2.
