What was your first big eye opener with regard to audio?
A pair of Mordaunt Short speakers in 1985 hooked me.  Sold them and regretted it ever since.  Could never find another pair.  They weren't anything special, but they had a tremendous sound and moved some air.
I lied to my wife about the price of Stax 009S headphone
If she comes home to clean your kitchen, she is a keeper.  Better buy her a nice vacuum cleaner.

Couple things you left out.  I would mount all speakers on the ceiling, then you would have room for your new Samsung 145 inch TV set.
BookShelf or Floor Standing Speakers
After reading your thoughts on this, I have decided to go with a large, or full range book shelf.  I have Dynaudio X18 book shelves now, but would like to purchase some better speakers.  I am convinced to stay the course with bookshelves.  I want ...
BookShelf or Floor Standing Speakers
Thanks guys.  You are correct that I need to listen to floor mounts.   I do have the room for them.  The bass is what interests me most of floor vs let's call it bookshelf or full range bookshelf.  I don't need earth shaking bass, but enough to pl...

Car Audio Upgrade
I upgraded my Silverado 2004 and my 2014 when I purchased them, but I did not upgrade the 2018.  It's not a bad stock system, but I hope to upgrade it one day.  I usually keep a new truck for 10 years, but I broke with that this last time, as the ...
Car Audio Upgrade
I do listen in the car and love quiet music to help with the stress of driving.  I used to do all the upgrades myself, but not these days.  You are correct about hard to upgrade.  Trying to get all the functionality back using wiring harnesses is ...

Paradigm Personas anyone heard them
I know this is old.  I am interested in the bookshelf model and wanted to listen to them.  I found them in a local box store.  They had all models connected with anthem, but it was so disappointing listening to great speakers in an open show floor...
Speaker Break In...? Or listener “Break In”?
prof   I agree.  It's like a car salesman.  If they can get you inside the car and take it for a test drive, or let you take it home and drive it for a couple days, a sale is more probable.I do think there may be a slight break in for speakers, ...
