Two Type of sound and listener preference are there more?
What’s up with this one side or another camp? This is not an accurate representation of how life is. We know there are two definitive sides filled with the majority of opinions smack dab in the middle and I am not referring to just politics. There...
ARC Ref 5se VS ARC Ref 6
Long time ARC customer like others on here. I think you will be happy with the Ref 5SE. Especially if it is within your price range. I owned one for about a year and only switched out the stock power cord for a Transparent cable. I was really happ...
Power Cord for Pass Int 60-Under 1K used
It never fails does it? The fundamentalists never mention what equipment or room they have do they? I have never used them in my systems but have read good things about Shunyata power cords. I use Transparent myself.

@dgarretson Wow indeed we have taken similar paths in audio. I had the Martin Logan Odyssey after the Magneplanars and then Wilson. I was so impressed at the time of the AMT1 speakers but needed more! All of them served a purpose.

I also had a pair of AMT 1's. My first "real" audiophile speaker as a young man. I nicknamed them "boom and sizzle". I had great enjoyment from them. I eventually sold them to a friend who really wanted them and bought Magneplanar speakers.
Dan D'Agostino Helius dual monoblocks, 1500w @ 8ohms
Beyond belief for mere mortals! I hope to hear them someday.
What was the first system you heard that made you think the high end made sense

Quincy Jones Interview
Okay regarding Jimi Hendrix being scared or afraid I have to laugh, that isn’t true and that is not what happened. Quincy FAILED to mention that Miles Davis loved Jimi’s playing and wanted to play with him. Miles when asked about Jimi Hendrix was ...
Quincy Jones Interview
There is a lot of information in there. He is up front about it.
My JL Audio sub is dead. What exactly happened?
Wasn't this from JL Audio initially getting substandard parts from their suppliers? I had one control module replaced and have not had any further issues.
Popping when kids are jumping
It sounds as if from your description that some connection possibly speaker binding post inside is loose in your Plinius amp.
Swapping Wilson Watt Puppy 6’s for open baffle Pure Audio Project Trio15 Voxative's
How far away from the rear wall are your WP/6's? I had a pair of WP/7's on a raised foundation and had a small issue with placement. I moved them out further in the room. Doing that smoothed the response for me.
Terminals spade type loosening the binding posts
Loctite red is the type that is hard to break loose. The washers should work as suggested above.

Gryphon vs. D'Agostino
I guess Dan D'Agostino is lying to a lot of people. I am so disappointed now that my Progression monoblocks are not rated correctly (sarcasm)! I will call the factory tomorrow to confirm what you are stating is true. As you already know George the...
