Sennheiser HD600
i found the perfect mate that makes them sound beefy/warm and it works perfectly. i regret selling the set-up. i used the musical fidelity amp V2 (the v3 sucks by the way). i used the most expensive old mullards, and ps audio X-treme inter-connect...
B&W 801 S3
each amp will sound diferent...depends what you like in the sound as to which is best. research what each of their sonic signatures are and make your own decision.

They arrived. Just right. Soundstage, Seperation, Sensativity. Smooth as silk. Just what the doctor ordered in my high-rise. And their stunning.

Herbie Hancock on the Grammys
Herbie is the man: He has a acoustic/electric funk period that rocks.
Built-in phono stages
Best is CAT.
What's causing the highs to be rolled-off?
a couple things would help--for one--try removing ALL and ANYTHING you have by ps audio -- just eliminate it--they are filters and causing you to lose highs--e-mail me back if you like what you hear...
