Looking for Advice on Focal Speakers
I have the 948s in my living room and the Maestro Utopias in my listening room. If I were to compare the 2, the Maestros are about 20% better. Listening to something like Tin Pan Alley sounds amaizing on the 948s but it is holographic on the Maes...
Survey on Cost of Loudspeakers Supported On Townshend Seismic Isolation Podiums
Focal Maestro Utopia $55K. Great addition.
Do you care about car audio?
If money is not a constraint, Emphatically yes. Just on a different scale. We all know that improving sound in any system is an exponential adventure. That said, I love home theater as well. After you blow $100K on Pass Labs, Focal Maestros, an el...
Pass INT-250 for B&W 800's

Should I use Speaker Spike / Isolation Base or Something?
Agreed. While not cheap, the Townshend podiums under my Focal Maestros did the trick.
Not in love with my system yet. Help!
This sounds like a polarity, phase or room issue.Have you tried to take the sub that arrived last and position it in the same place of the first sub and connect it to the same cables as the first sub? This will rule out if it is a hardware issue w...
SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Will I lose bass?
I run 2 SVS SB16Ultras and 2 SVS PB13Ultras. All are on the SVS isolation feet. Theater is on the second floor so I'm not on concrete but I did not lose any low end and as mentioned before the sound tightened up. Not to mention I run these subs at...
