The many musical faces of Mr. Miles Davis?
Nicotico, google shows miles with a red ferrari, although he may have also owned a yellow one before that one.
Differences in sound as related to watts?
I appreciate all the help. It seems that the concensus is speakers. I remember sometime ago hearing B&Ws that sounded big. Can anyone comment on that. Thank you.
what ohms would I have?
I built my speakers by first selecting the drivers and then going to an engineer who was a maniac about crossovers. He worked for a custom speaker company. I have 6 crossovers for 2 threeway speakers. Jentzen superior series Z capacitors were what...
Schematics
I have schematics for my older equipment including CJ, but I have not been able to get schematics lately from Audible Illusions.
More female vocals
Sarah Vaughn, Dinah Washington, Dakota Staton, Shirley Bassey, and Gloria Lynne can be added to the list.
Anita O'Day?
In my opinion, Anita was the most outstanding performer on that DVD "Jazz on a Summer's Day". I will always recall an interesting contradiction; I have always hated that song she sang, but her style and the way she sang it, knocked my socks off. S...
Oxidation, how to prevent?
The question was, "How to prevent Oxidation?". I stated to us WD-40 after "Deoxidizing" in order to prevent new "Oxidation from occurring". I have used this method for over 30 years. It will work for the applications he mentioned except for the ca...
Anita O'Day?
"Anita O' Day Sings the Winners", is my favorite. She is one of the greatest Jazz singers.
Jazz from 1957 to 1967 was the most definitive.

Jazz from 1957 to 1967 was the most definitive.

What is your favorite guitar solo of all time?
Carlos Santana, "Blues for Salvador", the 2nd cut "Bella" puts me in a trance.
Center imaging problems
This problem nearly drove me crazy. I did everything under the sun, only to find it was the room.
Jazz from 1957 to 1967 was the most definitive.
Foster_9, could you clue me in on your favorites by Miles after "Bitches Brew"?
My ears of tin are over 50
I'm over 50 and I hear very well. I had my hearing tested by professionals, and it is better than what would be equivalent to 20_20 eyesight. Hearing tests are free.
Good source of Sound?
While turntable is the best source, I hope you got deep pockets. When you read about how vinyl is better than CD, that is true, "if, and only if" you got deep pockets.
