Emotiva XSP-1 vs XSP-1 Gen 2
I love Tubes, particularly in a phono stage. As far as Tubes in an amp, great. My only issue with tube amps might be the 300b tubes and other great tubes. It seems impossible to purchase Telefunken, and Siemens level of tubes which were recently m...

Runin; You seem like a very bitter person, and I do not feel that I or anyone else needs to justify anything to you. On the flip side our Thiel 3.6's are at an efficiency of 87 dB, and are rated at 500 watts into 4 ohms. When I tell you that the XP...

Bad experience with Emotiva UMC-200
We own a UMC-200. Only issue was a software update required a return. The UMC-200 is fantastic and so is their service department. The new XMC-1 is made here in the U.S.A.https://emotiva.com/products/pres-and-pros/xmc-1

VPI Scout vs VPI Scout 1.1
Hi Again; As great as the Scout is, the Scout 1.1 is worth having even more. I must agree with Zd542 in that the Regular Scout is definitely a worthy performer. The Scout 1.1 offers a more refined picture into the musical performance.
VPI Scout vs VPI Scout 1.1
Thanks; We'll be able to answer my own question in a week.
Home HD digital FM Tuner
Thanks Mofimadness;Any clue why the HD FM market is exclusively targeted for car audio head units and not home audio?
Darbee DVP 5000 and an OTA Digital Tuner
Hi Elescher; If we can get the VT calibrated, we will be able stick the Darbee in the signal-path and sit back and become "The Cheshire Cats." We purchased the DVE digital calibration Bluray. Great for the basics.
