My wife always tells me I'll never grow up and I guess she's right. I'm 54 and still dig PF. I've been wanting a SACD copy of WYWH, Meddle and the Wall for a long time.Yeah, I've mellowed with age and am actually listening to Tony Bennett duets as...
DCM TF-400 info wanted
Thanks Tonyjack. Good to know mine are normal. Kind of figured they were since they sound so good and image so well. There is something very nice about these speakers. Kind of like they have a little of the Maggie sound to them. I'm looking for so...
Budget receiver/integrated amp for Cornwall III's?
Well guys, the CW III's are gone. However, I picked up a set of vintage DCM TF-400's (more appropriate for a bedroom system) and am looking for a receiver for those.Different animals from my Klipsch, but the price was right. :0)Thanks for your hel...
DCM TF-400 info wanted
Tonyjack, I'm not sure what you mean by both to the left? Do you mean when facing the speakers? When facing the speakers mine have the DCM logo on the inside of each speaker. On my left speaker the drivers are on the outside (opposite of the logo)...
Are The Klipsch Heritage Series Really Worthy?
Awesome speakers with the right electronics. They have the dynamics of real music that very few speakers can match. There is a reason they've been popular for long. And when Klipsch discontinued the Corn Wall's, La Scala's and K Horn's for a perio...
DCM TF-400 info wanted
The manual doesn't say much. Basically just provides the specs and shows the speaker configuration. Which, BTW, does only show one speaker and doesn't mention anything about drivers being configured to the outside of each speaker.Anyhow, it's just...

Thanks for the responses so far. I hooked them up using my sons not so good Yamaha AV receiver and was very impressed. I've only listened briefly with FM radio, but like what I heard. Do any of you know if these were supposed to be mirror imaged? ...
Budget receiver/integrated amp for Cornwall III's?
Let me change this up a bit. The more I read the more it seems I should be looking for a integrated tube amp. I know many people feel this way so there must be something to it.I'd like to get you guys thoughts on this? If this is the way to go the...
Budget receiver/integrated amp for Cornwall III's?
That new Marantz looks like a nice option, but where did you find it for that price? All the on-line shops seem to be $100 more. Does this Marantz have enough power to get a good bass from you CW III's?If I could put together a few extra bucks, th...
Budget receiver/integrated amp for Cornwall III's?
Any thoughts on Carver vintage C-1090 integrated?
What would you do?
Thanks. Pretty much what I was thinking. I'm hyped. I'm a huge Linn fan. Never heard anything from them I didn't like be it component or speakers. But, as you noted, I don't want to take allot of time so I made the move. BTW, the wife won the batt...
What would you do?
Thanks Meiwan. The center channel is 9" deep according to their website so worse case I'll have an inch overhang, but if that spec includes the front cover, which I'm hoping it does, then I should be good. With my requirements and in my budget I'm ...
Been away for awhile and need some help
I made the plunge and ordered the Focal 706V's with matching center and surrounds. I really wanted to get the in-walls for my rears, but they're not sold in pairs and one was almost as expensive as a set of the on-wall's.Any of you guys own the 70...
Been away for awhile and need some help
Since I don't have a local Focal dealer where would you guys recommend I buy from on-line?
Been away for awhile and need some help
Thanks so much for the feed back. For those who asked, I live in Chesapeake and that's part of the problem. There aren't many audio/HT stores around, even in VA Beach. I went to a BB Magnolia room yesterday and got to audition a few speakers. They...
