802d or 800d
Using 803D2 in a room 15X23X8ft and they sound fabulous. Me thinks the 800s may be a little much. The 803s are just right for my room size at any listening levels

Geoff, depends on what you consider big bucks, and I guarantee its done right. Although I must admit the room was really close to optimal.

Thank you all for your input. It's all well received and valuable. I was hoping for room treatment correction if possible as that is the least costly but........I will try an old standby solid cable to see if there is any improvement.........or no...
