Update on Paul Laudati of Clear Day Cable
Spoke to Paul just once on the phone and exchanged a few emails but you know how much of an impression he made when you see the posts on this thread and the consistent comments regarding his integrity and kindness. This hit me harder than I though...
Review: Linear Tube Audio Z10 Integrated Amplifier
Great review! It was a fun read and I enjoyed your non-audio professional write-up. I have been curious about LTA for a while now, especially with the rave reviews from members like @teajay. I have a Line Magnetic 805 right now and love it - can't...
Lyngdorf TDAI-3400
As I am not using my Lyngdorf 3400 currently as much, I am going to invest more into my headphone setup. My 3400 is going for sale. If anyone is interested, please let me know. Comes with the digital and analog modules.
Who has Luv for the Lyngdorf 2170 and is thinking about the 3400.

Preamp for a Line Magnetic i518?
@divertiti That is what I was advised and just to check, I bought a Don Sachs Preamp just to see if I would hear a difference. The difference was hard to pick out over time. In speaking with the distributor of LM, they have said the same - the pre...
Lyngdorf TDAI-3400
Well, similar to the OP, I tried the same thing again the next day and mysteriously, it worked. There was nothing different about this attempt but somehow it was able to detect the microphone and I was able to launch Room Perfect. I will say thoug...
Lyngdorf TDAI-3400
I just received the 3400 and am trying to run Room Perfect but I can't seem to get it started. As soon as I run it, I hear a sound coming out of my left speaker (not the right) and I get the Signal Error and it prompts me to check my microphone co...
Bookshelf speakers for near-field (desktop) use
@genez Yeah I follow PS Audio's instagram and they have shown the enclosure for their smallest floor stander as well. Very interested in what they are going to come out with but should we be a little cautious that they are new to the speaker game?
Bookshelf speakers for near-field (desktop) use
@chiptech10 Will see if that is the case when I get the LS50W next week. If it is, I may consider the LSX then. People do seem to be very impressed by them.
Who are some of elite sub woofers?
Gonna say REL here. It was a huge step up from the Hsu Research sub that I had (and that one was already pretty nice to me at the time).
Bookshelf speakers for near-field (desktop) use
Ended up finding a good deal on the LS50 wireless and took the opportunity to give those a try. I'll post thoughts when I get them. If I don't like them, I think I can sell them rather easily at the price I got them so there is low risk to me.
Bookshelf speakers for near-field (desktop) use
@seanheis1 Another good candidate. Reviews so far seem to think that the LS50 Wireless is an overall better speaker though (though it is more expensive). The LS50W would scale up better for future uses as well.
Bookshelf speakers for near-field (desktop) use
3 votes already for the Denton - sounds like a popular, affordable desktop speaker. I'll have to look into this...
Bookshelf speakers for near-field (desktop) use
@seasdiamondUnfortunately the Ref 1 would be a bit outside my budget but the R3 is right in my wheelhouse. Not sure how they would perform near field but I would be able to return them if I don't like them so that is another consideration.
Luxman Integrated - What do they sound like
@arturgorniak Nice set of amps that you have been through. Not surprising that the Luxman 509x topped your list. It is fantastic providing vibrant, dynamic, controlled sound but is also a great all rounder. An end game amp for a lot of people.
