| Using a Cork turntable mat on VPI Scout I use a spot mat (9 small cork circles on a closed foam 11 3/4" circle). Cost about 3 dollars to make and try. I love the sound of it. Also makes it easy to take the record off the platter. YMMV but it is cheap to try. | |

| Jolida 502 or 801? I auditioned both of these at home.I bought the 502B unmodded because I preferred the sound to the 801a. I had Paradigm Studio 40 v3 at the time.Hopefully you can listen to each before deciding. | |
| Good integrated amp for Paradigm Studio 40? I ran mine with a Jolida 502B which goes new for around that price. I enjoyed the match so much I moved up to the Signature line. Still a good match. | |

| Shorting the speaker wires When you reterminate keep one wire an inch longer on one end and an inch shorter on the other end. That way if they do pull out they don't touch. | |
