Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
@imhififan  I hope the link works: Transformer
Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
@imhififan  Of course, the transformer I used is actually unbranded but I’ll DM you the product link to the site I bought it from.
Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
@imhififan I got the replacement transformer in now and I just want to say: Thank you so much for your help and support, you are truly the Man. Tested with a DBT first and everything looked exactly as it should. I tested the amp extensively now a...
Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
@imhififan It was quite tough to find an exact match but I have 2 parts on the way to me now. Unfortunately rated for 220V input, but that should be alright.  I‘ll let you know once I had a chance to test everything out.
Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
@easystreamer  Sure, I’ll take some photos of the unit. Getting to the power supply PCB is very simple, just open up the bottom panel and it’s right in front of you. Getting to the auxiliary transformer requires a bit more disassembly work: Take o...
Accuphase A-48S
@foolishman: Im currently stuck at the same problem as you were with the auxiliary transformer. Could you post some photos of how you solved the issue and where you ordered the replacement transformer?  thank you in advance and best regards
Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
@imhififan Thank you so much for the illustration, of course that makes more sense setting J4/J5. I really appreciate your help.  regarding the aux transformer, I took it out to get a clearer view. Indeed I would be running the system at 240V. Att...
Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
Actually I have to correct myself. After looking at the traces on the solder side I currently think J1 needs to be set along with either J5 or J6 (one of those should be for 220V the other 240V). Would that make sense?  Here’s another shot of the...
Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
@imhififan From what I could see so far I think J2, J3 and J6 will have to be removed and J4/J5 set for start to end connection of the secondary windings. J1 should bridge both windings for series connection, what do you think?
Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
@imhififan Thank you so much for looking into it.  below is the solder side of the PCB I think I located the auxiliary transformer, I’ll get to that next.    https://ibb.co/9HZbYbqK https://ibb.co/67DJPBxJ
Accuphase E-3000 voltage conversion
So I now have a firsthand view on the PCB. The setup is different from the older 2xx models. Currently the jumpers are at J2/J3/J6 for 100V with the others being open. I’ll be able to take photos of the rear of the PCB after tomorrow once I get to...
Accuphase E-280 Voltage Conversion (100V to 120V)
Did anyone already attempt an E-3000? I’m wondering if the voltage selection still looks similar as on the other 2xx models. Anyone got a photo of the interior? Can’t seem to find anything online. Thank you in advance guys
