Gershman's "Cameleon": Any Owners?? Help??
Very belated intervention by the English police department: "Irregardless"?Hopefully you have seen the error of your ways since 2002. Your punishment is already served:- 15 years of silent derision by friends who know better!I digress. A pair of t...
Yaqin Integrated amp and tube rolling??
Well, the Mullard tubes are smooth and very pleasant sounding. I can imagine that if a system were even slightly in need of having any hardness or fizz tamed out these el34s would do the trick. I had to try them, and probably over spent on the Ups...
Shopping for an integrated, advice s'il vous plait.
Check out Yaqin or Silk Audio  for well built, reliable Tube integrateds at less than $1000 new. Good sound, tube rolling options and VU meters, since you like them!I love my Silk Audio MS 38. It's the centerpiece of my second system.
Yaqin Integrated amp and tube rolling??
A belated reply for other owners.I have owned a Silk Audio MS-38 with Yaqin 6ca7 blue glass tubes for just over a year now. It is a cosmetically modified version of the Yaqin MS20. I ran the supplied 5654 Chinese tubes for about 100 hours. They di...

Review: Acoustic Revive RR-77 Tweak
Wait!Maybe my satisfaction is a side effect of the RR-777 unit being on and the baroque music I'm currently enjoying?Should I turn it off?Maybe later.  Ahhhh;-)
Review: Acoustic Revive RR-77 Tweak
That's the official line. The current model is the 888 anyway. It's not painted with magic symbols inside, but it WORKS!I saved $400 for the same performance.I'm happy.
Are audiophiles still out of their minds?
With speaker cables:Shouldn't you also replace the cables INSIDE the cabinets with your choice of cable? Why feed bell wire with a hauser? I did this year's ago with my set if ProAc tablettes. The Rega Naos I own came with the same type of rega cab...
Review: Acoustic Revive RR-77 Tweak
I have had my RR-777 for over six months now.I found a "Non official" used  one on ebay from Japan. Cost  $180, which is more in line with reality. It looked new , by the packaging and condition. The effect is of getting immersed in the soundstage,...
