Amp for Silverline MInuets
NAD C320BEE or an older NAD PE series will do fine. These are great speakers - enjoy.

I loved my 9.2's. A little dark and not the most detail, but lots of body and warmth. The 9.1's are available new for $210 for STO sound and vision.
Which one do I buy Pre Ject Debut III or Rega P1??
fwiw, I had a couple of Pro-jects including an Xpression 2 and a the nice Technics with the better wiring (forget the model number). None of these really did it for me. I heard a P1 at a dealer and now I have a Rega table on the way. You'll know i...
Rega Planar 3 Tonearm Question
check out the rega tonearm article on vinylengine dot com. great pics, it will be no problem to i.d. your arm.
Upgrading from NAD 320 BEE?
I now own my 5th 320BEE and it's not going anywhere. I would sell the others and try something different, but kept coming back. I have a couple other amps I like that cost a lot more, but I could live with the BEE happily. Just don't be in a hurry...
P1,2,3: the best Rega for the job
And now, the cartridge!Through a fortunate turn of events, I now have a P3-24 on the way for what it would've cost me to drive the hundred miles to my nearest Rega dealer, pick up a P1, and buy me and my wife a decent meal.Now...I need a cart. I h...
P1,2,3: the best Rega for the job
Thanks to all; lots of food for thought. The P5 is out of scope until I have at least its price invested in vinyl. Until then, a couple of you seem to have faith in the P2 and nobody has suggested the P3 is more than this beginner needs. A thread...
Small monitor- made in the states
All I know is the Silverline website states "proudly designed & handcrafted in the USA" at the bottom of the Minuet page. Not sure what "handcrafted" has to mean, legally. It may just be assembly. At any rate, they're great, and not just for t...
Small monitor- made in the states
Please do yourself a favor and try or at least research the Silverline minuet. Made in the USA, small, affordable, easy to drive and sound great.
Is a Sub worth the bother?
I'm enjoying my first sub which is cheap, and in my opinion, fairly good. It's a Polk which was barely over a hundred from bb on a half off sale. However, it seems to underpin my monitors nicely and add something i've definitely been missing. It's...
Entry level turntable
I've had a couple Pro-Jects, including the Xpression, and never cared for them. Listened to a P1 at a dealer last week, and now I want one. That being said, the P2 advice is also sound, but if you can't swing it, you can always upgrade the P1 with...
who needs a cd player anymore
I'll gladly pay shipping for any cd's and cd players you want out of your life. Seriously, I understand why your approach works for some but the idea of not being able to pick up a cd I've been curious about, bring it home, and listen to it withou...
Subwoofer budget max $700: new vs used, brand?
REL has a new-ish line of budget subs that you might want to check out.
Best sub 4000 dollar standmount.
I wouldn't buy anything until I heard Green Mountain Audio's offerings. I have a pair of Europas and they are pretty unreal. Can't imagine how good the new models are.
Cart / Phono preamp for Technics SL-5200
Vinyladdict, Yes, I sort of got in a hurry. I did take Ekobesky's advice on the Rotel preamp, though! I can take my lumps on the Red I suppose and get the AT - I'll just plunk down the extra cabbage and get the 120, though. Thanks again.
