"Bridge Over Trouble Water" sounds artificial
Sounds like you are now able to “hear into the mix” better now than before.  The pros and cons of a highly resolving system.

I’m having so much fun again with music, I got a new set of speakers - Spatial Audio M3 Turbo S.  I can confirm that the M100 is a wonderful match with these speakers.  Warm, detailed, great bass.  I can be happy for a long time with this combo.

There is a new firmware update and network update on the website as of this morning.  Fixed an iPhone app crash for me.
Ownership and Review of a pair of Ohm Super Sound Cylinder
djones51 - best of luck with the speakers.  I’m guessing the M100 will work great as will the MARS.  Seems to me to mainly help in filling the bottom end and that shouldn’t hurt what the Ohms are trying to do, since the low end isn’t directional. ...

I measure the top it an IR thermometer at 95F and at the side where the “vent” is at 97F both at idle and running.  Can occasionally hear the fan with my ear close by but certainly not at listening position with no music on.  I switched from fairl...
Micromega M-One Integrated - any first hand experience?
That is frustrating, but it isn't the experience of most of us who own the 100 or 150.  If you bought new, have you contacted your dealer?  Otherwise I would try following the procedure to install all of the updates from memory stick.  I've never ...

I played around for a bit with my Sennheiser/Massdrop HD6xx both with and without binaural.  For me loud is about 50 and I didn’t try to go up to 60.  So far I think the circuit sounds a little dark and not too detailed, but I want to spend some m...
Digital integrated alternatives to SET tube system
I did the same thing recently,  moving from a VAC integrated all tube to the Micromega M100.  I had also used a 300B amp in the past.   I’m very happy to have made the switch.  Just turn it on and play music.  No bias or warmup.  And the M100 with...

Just another informational update.  I had originally had my subwoofer hooked up to the binding posts.  I received clarification from Micromega on the sub out.  It outputs 20 Hz to 400 Hz while the binding posts continue to output full range.  So I...

Usery - I was interested in your statement “The hype surrounding the playback performance of some of the pay-for apps is just that: hype.” And whether you have upsampled to DSD or tried various filter settings that are features in the pay-for apps...

usery - curious how many different music streaming programs or apps have you listened to on the Micromega or others?

The latest version of the Micromega iOS app now streams Tidal.  I don't have an account so haven't tested.

Djones51 - I’m always up for an excuse to buy a new toy.  My wife loves her iPad mini and I use my iPad Pro all the time.  Usery - in my limited time playing with Roon, Audirvana, and iTunes as the means to get music to the M100, I would say they ...

Just FYI, Roon will also play internet radio.  For the price of an iPad mini, you might be able to buy a lifetime subscription to Roon and that may have a better Android interface (I don’t have any to check but it should be easy enough to find out...

They are also also adding Roon to firmware hopefully by the end of the year, but that’s just for us “semi-incumbent audiophile “elite” on Macs” who like music more than equipment :)
