wire in Graham Phantom B44 / Origin Live Conqueror
Thanks, Kbell. I found out Ortofon uses copper in its RS-212D as well. I am just trying to weight pros and cons between copper and silver for the tonearm wire, in a roundabout way so to speak.

Sunnyjim,Sorry for a bit of offtopic here - I saw your post where you were asking about the RHB Sound Design mod for the CJ the other day, can recall now where it was. I am planning to do the same. If you already followed that path could you pleas...
where to get AudioNote wires
Frogman - sorry, I should have said 'inside the wand', I mean inside the arm. Or inside the arm just wires and then teflon once you get out of the arm? If this is not to much to ask - if you could share a picture in case you have any of what you d...
where to get AudioNote wires
Frogman - what was the teflon tube diameter? I didn't work with teflon much. So I guess the teflon you put just INSIDE the tube, correct? What did you use after that and ouside of the arm base to the pre-amp? Same teflon or something else, would b...
where to get AudioNote wires
Thank you everybody, the list is there, my fault, I just didn't see the 'if' in'if not mentioned below' on the AN site!I never did play with silver wiring before sticking to the idea that the copper would give more 'presence', I am going to try si...
Ortofon tonearms ,Static and Dynamic - Difference?
To Agondgd,Was interesting to read your remark as to "static Ortofons are intented for the heavy SPU range of cartridges and Dynamic for a wider group of brands and models."Then you stated it is vice versa. What interests me - I spoke with LDorio@...
Ortofon SPU Synergy
VTVU, did you try Windfeld on RS-212D? How was it? I have the cart but not the arm, entertaining the idea between the TA-110 and RS-212D, can't decide. There are not too many reviews on TA-110, specifically how it sounds sonically compared to RS-2...

ConradJohnson--Can their vintage compete with new?
Thank you, Orpheus, this is good to know. Not sure if I should keep remembering that but I saw a post where one mentioned 'possible' problem with the 'balance' handle on the PV12, I can't recall at the moment what exactly was said. Was wondering if...
ConradJohnson--Can their vintage compete with new?
To DwrHiI am considering to go the same route as you did it seems (I have PV12 with phone stage). Would you be so kind to email me a few details about what exactly modifications were done, any points on your side would be great. Thank you, Anatoliy
how important is linestage preamp with vinyls only
Thank you all, very much appreciate the feedback.Ed - why move the TT from the corner? And about the speakers - the nirvana room is pretty small - 14 x 11. What distance in your opinion I should maintain between the wall and the speaker in this sp...
how important is linestage preamp with vinyls only
Dear Lewm,I got it wrong from CJ I am afraid – just spoke with Ed from CJ, they CAN do the teflon ones on PV12, the price I guess is not a secret it is $1200. I am not sure if I can find a cheaper option here. The teflon upgrade on the PR16 is act...
how important is linestage preamp with vinyls only
Thank you everybody. To Thorman – yes, you are exactly right about trying different tubes. The thing is I was almost at the point to buy some tubes (good ones) from Brent Jesse, $300-500 range per matched pair. I looked at other places as well. Sho...
