Modular Room-w/in-a Room HT? Think's a good idea?
Lowrider57, I actually have a couple of different rooms which I could use at my home, including a garage space. The idea would be to at least have the base partition structure fit in, say, a rather small room/space - 11'x12' , for example - with m...

Modular Room-w/in-a Room HT? Think's a good idea?
Lowrider57, I merely cut-n-paste some links to the similar basic concepts I found -not specifically any given construction, fabrication process or materials, acoustic options, etc - just the concept of a modular space that fits in another space. M...
Good, basic receiver for $500 or so?
If u buy new at that price point ull get weaker amps were the sound falls down a bit. if u buy used u can get a much better amp for couple hundos and just add Bluetooth add-on if u must have that. I can think of many used sub $400 AV receivers tha...

The Best New HT Processor
I've always been into the movie thing..and thus "AV", for my high end systems, needed to be a reality -as opposed to JUST a high end 2 ch system for music. That said though, when it came down to AV Prepro selection for myself, I've always focused ...

The value of top end 1080p projection
Yes, I agree if on the screen. I've had some expensive one's in past (SI Black Diamonds, Stewart Firehawks and Studiotech 130's G3's, and so forth) but its acceptable for no money on the $40 budget basement board for now. If I needed to go LARGE o...
The value of top end 1080p projection
Just to recap some 6 months later, I'm STILL using my RS25u, and have now owned/used this pj longer than pretty much any other - and I will likely do so until it either dies, or gets replaced by a quality 4k change effort in the future. Yes, the n...
