New Synergistic Master Fuse
Add that to the fact that the audio signal does not go through the AC line fuse. Yes, the audio signal goes through the fuse.  I mean where else?  You don't know what you're talking about.
AUDIO SCIENCE REVIEW and $50 to spend.........
Here is an example where ASR may not adequately measure the component. I at least would like to see an transient affect under load.  The measurement was done all in frequency domain which only tests for steady state response. I'd to see t...

prof, I am going to rate women based on measurements. :-)

The "subjective measurer" has their own confirmation bias to deal with.  They measure what they think will agree with their own bias.
"Audiophile" Power Cables: The Greatest Audio Conspiracy Theory of All Time?
“Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.” The ASR crowds are just as clueless.

There is something called "subjective measurements".  Think about it.
What defines mid-fi versus high-end?
If it is sold at the Best Buy, then it is probably mid fi.
If a speaker cable added 1 - 2 ohms of resistance would that be?
DC resistance will affect the bass the most. It will make the sound lacking dynamic since the amp won’t be able to drive the woofer as hard. An 8ft cable should have no more than .1 or .2 ohm of DC resistance.
If a speaker cable added 1 - 2 ohms of resistance would that be?
If these are 1-2 ohms, a standard good quality meter should get you close enough. Not perfect, but close enough. No, you really need to make a four-wire measurement.  1 or 2 ohm is too much for a 8ft cable.
Amir and Blind Testing
I don't think the problem with Amir is calibration.  Even if the instrument is off a little bit it shouldn't matter.  The problem with Amir is he doesn't have a clue what he's measuring.
Amir and Blind Testing
Lols Amir is like religion to the the objectivists.
Why should audiophile deniers be allowed on an audiophile forum?
The so-called objectivists are not completely non-guilty.  They have their own religion that they follow too: It's called Belden cable.
Power Cords - Shielding or No Shielding
In their words, "A well designed power supply will not get noise induced into the power cord..."   Shielding is only one aspect of a power cable.  There are improvement that has nothing to do with noise shielding.
Has the cost of HiFi gotten a bit too much?
If you look at the cost computer, it has actually gone down in price. But not for high end hifi gears. Something like this costs 30K brand new.  It does not seem to make sense. https://www.audiogon.com/listings/lisag1be-allnic-audio-l10000-tube
