hmm
I had been searching for information on a Signet TK 10 ML which I had on a second turntable and removed prior to selling. I got lucky and found my original box. This info may be of some help:

D.C. Resistance 240 Ohms
Cartridge Inductance 85 mH
Cartridge Impedance @ 1kHz 550 Ohms
Recommended Load Impedance 47k Ohms
Recommended Load Capacitance 200 pF
VTA 20 degrees

You can write to:
Signet Division
A.T.U.S., Inc.
4701 Hudson Drive
Stow, Ohio 44224

This address is taken from the owners manual and states that full details of the Signet set-up, equipment adjustment and procedures are available on request.

Hope this helps,
Patrick
I also have an old Signet cartridge tucked away as a 'back-up', perhaps the same one even. I know that I do not have the original box, so I can't be of much help on that note. However, I know for a fact that a local stereo dealer who used to sell Signet products has a drawer full of old Signet cartridges and may have one in an original box they could look at for you (they got out of the turntable market years ago). If not, at the very least it could be a source for a new needle for the cartridge. I expect they would give a good price on it as well. My Signet cartridge had three different grades of stylus that could be used, with the top-end stylus yielding a significantly nicer performance. The name of the shop is The Stereo Shoppe and they are in Lansing, MI; phone number is (517)394-4370. If that doesn't work, try the Needle Doctor for possible info. You can get info on contacting them at their website at www.needledoctor.com Good luck.
