BAT power amps

I recently purchased a BAT VK225SE power amp and I really like how it matches to my Spendor D7.2 speakers. Is there an BAT upgrade to the 225SE that would make sense? Looking to spend less than $8000 used.

TIA

You've got a damn good amp, but if you're talking about a factory upgrade from SE to Rex, then no. There was it's replacement, the VK-255SE on TMR but it appears to be gone.

What are you trying to achieve with an upgrade?  You can upgrade the power supply caps and input stage caps which will deliver impactful performance for a lot less than 8k (Probably < $1k).

Thanks for your responses. To clarify I wantedt to see if there was an amp that would improve things, although I am quite satisfied with what I have. It seems that a REX would be a possibility in the future.

Also, regarding Rex power amps, $8,000 is not going to get you there. Rex I amps go for about $10,000 to $12,000 give or take. With your budget you can look at the fantastic vk120 or the vk150 monoblocks. I own the VK 120 model blocks that have been upgraded with v caps which I'm very happy with.
