The Shunyata Research OMEGA-X-Ethernet Cable

@grunge1000 shunyata research has published all of the patents that you can investigate

their power cords are used in hospitals by surgeons to dramatically improve the chances of saving human lives… This is not in the imagination of the surgeons

but the bottom line is why do you care? If you’re happy with your system then use it if you’re not happy with your system, then experiment

those of us who work and live music have no problem hearing the differences between every physical object that runs audio… although I’ve never done any test with ethernet cables, so I have no opinion on that

Does my hearing skill and credential bother you? Maybe you should seek some sort of professional help

as I sit before, if you're in Los Angeles, you can come by my studio. I'm happy to show you the difference between multiple power cords. It'll take about 10 minutes and you'll hear it.

nuclear engineering has nothing to do with materials science… The arrogance of your knowledge does not mean that you know everything everywhere

to everyone else… Frank seems like a robot to me

very much indicative of robotic agitators online in social media circles

@brianlucey. If you wouldn't mind, could you please share a link. Also, I am glad you have bionic hearing and I am happy for your credentials and success. I must have struck a nerve, as your tone has changed to aggressive, or maybe you are thinking--Man, he has a point. Either way--Good Luck.

@brianlucey I can view their patented data and it's a load of BS. I want published data supporting their claims.. Should be fairly easy.

Cheers,

@brianlucey --LOL.. DID you actually post this or is it a mirage--"their power cords are used in hospitals by surgeons to dramatically improve the chances of saving human lives"

So I should only go to the hospitals that employ Shunyata cables since it will improve my surgical outcome. LOL. Sorry buddy but you are really cracking me up..

@grunge1000

if a Power Cable made NO difference on highly sensitive equipment, how could it make a difference on a CD transport.

It somehow makes a difference to folks’ ears; never mind the most rabid of them haven’t heard 10kHz since the 1990s.

@brianlucey

With respect, I would have to agree with the opinion that the PhD who runs Shunyata is a mendacious buffoon. I wrote a long post once, deconstructing one of his youtube videos hawking his $100 wall outlet, in which he deliberately misused an otherwise perfectly good test instrument in order to draw misleading conclusions from a legit but taken out of context measurement.
