Seeking Recommendations for a Streamer (No DAC)

Hi All,

Unfortunately I could not get an Aurender N100h to work with my BlackIce Glass FX Tube DAC so it's going back.

It's a known issue with Aurender, they even have a "bug fix" built into the app but in my case it didn't work.

I'm looking for a dedicated streamer, no DAC, optimized for USB to replace a NODE N130.

Budget is ~$1,000 used.

The Node Nano can get the job done. If you want to take things to another level—especially in terms of soundstage performance—while staying under $1,000 on the used market, consider the Holo Red. If you can stretch the budget a bit further, to around $1,500, consider the Volumio Rivo with an LPS or the Innuos Zen Mk3.

It is an all-in-one solution at a great price and performs flawlessly. I am not familiar with the inputs on the BlackIce Glass FX Tube DAC. If it includes a USB input, I would also suggest a small computer streamer combined with a world class battery/super-capacitor power supply. This streamer + power supply combination is competitive with the best and in your budget. Next week I will share an article on this option. T+As top DACs use it and it is truly worth considering.
