William Low interview

I have always been a little suspicious of Audioquest as a company because I am a little suspicious of the importance of cables BUT but this interview with Founder William Low changes all that. I love this man. I referenced this Occasional podcast episode in another thread but there is so much in it that it deserves a thread of it's own. Also the link I posted there involved Apple and I suspect that may not work for all of you so here is a cleaner link to the podcast web site:

Occasional Podcast: William Low Interview

Paraphrased Teasers from the interview (Paraphrase because I could not find a transcript of the interview to quote from and I am not going back to listen to the whole thing just so I can get the quote exact. But these are good faith representations of what Mr. Low said. Listen and see if you disagree):

My portable bluetooth speaker can do it for me just as well as my $100,000 system.

I am about to release a toslink digital cable rebranded which is exactly the same as the previous two versions we released. Nobody manufactures their own fiber.

Furman makes the only power conditioner worth listening to.

But there is much more of value in his reflections on the whole Audiophile "thing". Have fun and Kudos to the Occasional Podcast and Mr. Low!!

Thanks for sharing this information.  Audioquest is an outstanding company; but their seemingly endless hierarchy of cables can be frustrating for those wanting a end game bargain - if that exists!  Each level up their chain will yield inncremental improvements, but how perceivable, quantifiable, and valuable those increases are may vary from person to person.
