Best bang for the buck

What’s been the most cost effective item you purchased for your system?
I will go first- a Zerostat I bought 40 years ago. Next most cost effective purchase has to be a Denon DL103R cartridge which I bought new for $300.

zavato

BAT VK-P5- $600

Odyssey Audio Stratos- $225

Mytek dac- $300

Denon dp-57l- $250

Audiolab 6000cdt- $275

Belles Aria integrated- $900

All used of course, but every single piece in pristine condition. It pays to be patient.

For me it’s absolutely room treatment. It’s about 7% of my system’s value, but made a 50% improvement in my sound quality🎵

Tekton speakers, great value and sound as well.just got the new bonnevilles and yes 4 feet wide 4 big woofers 7 horns. If you have the room it's a bargain. Few speakers have 11 drivers each under 20 k a pair.focal utopia ,magico, borresen, kef ect worth a listen and high spl . I'll take a little less wood furniture for near same sound quality.enjoy the yard sales.

Having my room, lectrical panel, and grounding rewired and upgraded with dedicated lines to my room. It was cheaper than the power cords I bought,. It made everything in the room sound better instantly.
