Best concert you've attended

Mine is The Doobie Brothers, at the Civic Center in Amarillo Texas, in 1976. I was 16 years old.

The weed smoked all around us was good  too.

Good topic for discussion

Pink Floyd, U of Cincinnati Fieldhouse, DSOTM, 1973

Simon and Garfunkel, The Concert in Central Park, 1981

Jethro Tull, Miami University, TAAB, 1973

JJ Cale, Great American Music Hall, New Haven, 1981

Rolling Stones, Hartford Civic Center, 1981

The Who, New Haven Coliseum, 1981

Grateful Dead, New Haven Coliseum, 1981

James Brown, Hara Arena Dayton, 1969/70

Missa Solemnis - LA Phil, Dudamel, 200+ voices WDCH. Subscriber but upgraded to third row center. I will, and most will, never see the likes again.
Stunning. Like most respondents - a variety of rock concerts over the years but for shear mind blowing sound - unamplified or manuipulated it was trancendent - as the composer wished it to be.

The Jackson Five - Ft. Wayne, IN  Memorial Coliseum 1971

Yes - Ft. Wayne, IN  Memorial Coliseum 1972

Now this was that transition year from an 8th grader to a 9th grade freshman in highschool.  A massive jump in perspectives, to say the least.

Santana - Ft. Wayne, IN  Memorial Coliseum 1973

And this was all general seating, meaning we sat cross legged on the concrete concert floor and boogied with the best of them.
