Klipsch LaScala footers

Now that I believe I have my Klipsch LaScala AL5 speakers properly positioned, it's time that I deal with proper footers of some sort.  My current rubber furniture coasters with felt pads on the underside allowed me to position these heavy 200 lbs cabinets easily and without damaging the wood floor. These coasters were temporary and it's time to find proper footers.  I actually experimented with plastic coasters with a carpeted underside and they support my weight no problem (I'm 200 lbs). Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

@danmar123 you are absolutely correct! I heard about this in a documentary after I purchased and set up my LaScalas.  If you look at the underside of the cabinet,  there's a 1.25" thick platform with an additional 1. 25 x1.25  block of wood added to each corner.  And this is where that metal "button" is inserted. I guess you could remove these buttons and adhere a felt pad but I'm not sure if the pad will adhere properly should you have to move the spkr. The sliders I'm using are recessed in the middle so the sliders actually catch the buttons when moving these heavy cabinets around. At least this way you aren't scratching the floor.

Footers under La Scalas is a good idea.  But you also might want to consider adding a gasket and some better screws to the very important back panel of the bass horn.

@bodega,I dnt think that would have any benefits. The base does have to flex, while we're at it, we might as well add 2x4s to the rear wall. Lol
