Upgrade from B&W 802D1 to Focal Utopia Scala Evo

I have a pair of focal sopra n1s and I love how they sound. I love how instruments are holographic and sounds so real on them. On some music they are bright, but it’s worth it for the music that it’s not bright on. It depends on the recording and there’s no absolutes in this hobby. But, these are my favorite and I would buy focal again.

bartsw - thanks for the information, it's a very subtle change approximately 1db.

Then you need to use EQ or buy a warmer preamp or amp. I use EQ on my 802 and still jack up the bass and treble.

what's a good quality EQ for such a system?

I have a PS Audio BHK preamp, BHK 300 monoblocks
