Just by depreciation (driving it off the lot). They are now considered used without a transferrable warranty. The dealer says they cost him 20k, so he wouldn't have an interest trading them back in for more than that
Upgrade from B&W 802D1 to Focal Utopia Scala Evo
If you had the chance to upgrade from the B&W 802D1 to the FOCAL UTOPIA SCALA EVO, which would you choose and why?

Many have also mentioned that Focal is not as harsh sounding as the B&W. I have heard the Focal at two dealerships and they have sounded amazing. Be it, electronics, cables, source material, room treatment, room size, etc.... I cannot physically take my electronics to the dealer (due to weight) to compare. There are so many variables, as there are on here (I love Focal, I hate Focal, I love B&W, I hate B&W). BTW, it's awful easy on an anonymous chat forum to try to bully someone with a generic comment like that, intended to make an ass of the OP. |

Well when people answer your questions and you still ask until you get confirmation hearing what you want to hear or when they ask you questions and you blow them off, it’s a one way conversation. Think about how frustrating it is for people spending time on your question and you blow them off. I had to go through the trouble of getting a response from B&W to answer your question for the X time.
Speakers are measurable and often not an opinion. Focal’s signature is extremely detailed highs and fast light tweeter/cones. It’s reflected the materials used. https://youtu.be/TBoUSSr16To?t=280
