Airlens streamer thoughts

@gkelly It was you. You suggested the streamer upgrade and made me spend that money. Thanks for your input. 😁. I had a power plant and traded it in for the airlens. I had some issues where it would turn itself off randomly. One time I turned it on and my power supply in my Pontus deck was blown. Another time I turned it on and one of my M 700 amps Had a blown amp module. Another time I turned it on in my BHK pre-had a blown fuse. This all happened over maybe eight months. So I sent the unit in and they tested it for a few days and couldn’t find anything wrong with it. I didn’t want it going into my system or anyone else’s system so I traded it in for The airlens. That being said PS audio has to be the best company of dealt with. They just Emailed me yesterday to check on how I’m liking the airlens and let me know I have a few more weeks to test it to see if I wanted to keep it. They’ve been outstanding to work with.

A network switch. Are you trying to make me spend more money?🤣im limited on room treatment. I know All too well what it could do. I was The general contractor on a $3 million recording studio for some very popular people. I put in a fabric ceiling in my living room with good treatment. I’m trying to sneak in some fabric covered quadratic diffusers without my wife noticing. Overall my room sounds really great.

@dahodevil  Glad you like the the airlens.  My system is mostly PS Audio.  I agree they are a good company to work with.  I was using a Mojo Audio modified mac mini for years as my streamer and wanted something more up to date, as sw support on the mac had been discontinued for years.  I tried the airlens and it was comparable to the mac, but clearly better than other streamers I had like a sonos, which would probably be more similar to your node.  I returned the airlens as it wasn't an improvement for me, and I ended up biting the bullet and bought an innuos zen next-gen, which was several times more expensive than the airlens, but that's what I needed to do to get an unambiguous audible improvement in my system.  In any case, yes streamers matter.  enjoy  : )
