Advance Paris A12 v. McIntosh MA352

I'm looking into changing into a hybrid integrated amp. There are a number of them out there of course, but I am focusing in on two. Has anyone here compared the Advance Paris A12 to a McIntosh MA352 hybrid integrated amp? If so, how do they compare in terms of build quality, performance and value (especially since the price points on these two products is so far apart)? Or is such a comparison akin to apples v. airplanes (as in it is a ridiculous comparison)?  Thanks everyone!

@avanti1960 You raise a great point: I am equally puzzled by the hype. The product sounds okay I suppose, but I am less than impressed with not only its sound but its build quality. I'm not seeing any real value here.

I'll  check into the Pathos Logos.

@freezoner  Well let me add a little. The Advance Paris A12 Classic IS a great sounding hybrid unit. BUT, I decided I wanted something with a little bit better "structure" to it. The AP A12 Classic felt a little cost cutting on assembly, the cabinet was kind of light weight, the RCA’S felt a little lower quality, ETC... All my opinion of course. Looking at Unico Hybrids, I also noticed Pathos Logos MKII, and did a little digging, and realized this would be what I was looking for. Very high quality feel, look, ETC... It weghs 62 pounds, about 20 pounds more than the Advance Paris, if that means anything LOL !

McIntosh is McIntosh .If Advance Paris didn't have blue lights would it sell . I am old enough to remember the Ford Granada being advertised as an alternative to a Mercedes

@biglou13 Yep on both accounts. I've now heard the Adavance Paris A12, as well as the PrimaLuna EVO 300 Hybrid and neither of them impressed me all that much. The A12 was definitely a Ford Granada (great analogy), the PrimaLuna a Honda Accord. And I heard both of them through speakers that were way out of my pay grade (DeVore 96, which I think are pretty fantastic speakers).

My trouble now is this: not a single dealer in my neck of the woods (Denver, CO) has a MA352 available for me to hear. I wonder why that is?
