Floating Music
Stretching out with other worldly and US jazz influenced music
I wanted to start a thread to show there is more than just Avant Garde and or Straight Ahead Jazz music in our world. And there is absolutely nothing wrong at all with Avant Garde and or Straight Ahead Jazz music as I do love that part of US Jazz based culture. But sometimes I want to hear and add more sound spices as it were, from other worldly and US jazz influenced music.
There is so much more other worldly and US jazz influenced music that goes unnoticed and it's time to bring those musics of different sound spices to the forefront to be shared.
Although I have started this thread I am not a or the moderator. Let me repeat I am not a or the moderator. I don't have the time nor energy to police anyone's take on the music they like and want to share. As I will always try and be open to others choices of music.
Hi John, Glad you’re here. I’ve since sold my EverSolo DMP- A8 Network Streamer, DAC, Preamp and my Laiv Harmony µdac and have been using my laptop not only to take quick listens but also as a unsuspecting tool for listening as well as posting. As I right this post, I’m saving up for a used full sized Laiv Harmony dac. I also still needle drop too. To go along with what @devinplombier suggests you can also connect your flat screen tv to the often not used toslink inputs connections of your analog integrated amplifier, stereo receiver, preamp or dac by using your often not used output toslink connections of your flat screen tv through your two channel stereo system and watch youtube videos on your flat screen tv that way also. Think of it as a quick and inexpensive way of making your stereo system similar to a home theater setup Toslink Output - > Toslink Cable - > Toslink Input Flat Screen TV - > Integrated Amp or Stereo Receiver or Preamp or Dac .
