Earth Day, turn those amps OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Earth Day, turn those amps OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've said it before, I'll say it again, it is Environmentally IRRESPONSIBLE to leave your equipment on for long periods of time, before or after, or truly despicable, ON all the time!

On, 20 mins, listen, done, off!

Doctors, Lawyers, Trust Fund Kiddos, come on now.

Where were you in 1970?, I was there in Manhattan (went to college at Pratt in Brooklyn 1966-1970)

No, I had to read about him, then a vague memory about the missing woman. He spoke at 1st Earth Day in Philly.

It’s quite a story

I was married, had a kid, working part time, loans, putting myself thru school (declared myself financially independent from my evil stepfather) and Pratt and any art school, they give you a project, you work as easy or hard as you choose, I thought they made a mistake letting me in, and needed deans’ list for the scholarship money, so I never worked harder in my life. I would NEVER go back to school.

Well, I did take a class in Transcendental Meditation, that’s when the great creator told me to turn those amps off.

I don't know how that got in there, it was a 'cut and paste', it is funny, thanks for catching it.

"Yabba Dabba "D".  You heard it here first."

I often think what I want on the backside of my gravestone, probably 'He Tried"

You might get senile, put your headstone order in now.

I’ve lived all over the east coast, born a Yankee in Auburn, NY, then Fl, NC, McLean Virginia near DC (your Pam was born in VA), VT, Brooklyn, NJ

I still miss Southern Girls. We had an Art History teacher at Pratt (most were men), she was very tempting, thanks for reminding me, but so was my girlfriend/wife Nancy.

I leave my electric toothbrush, hairdryer and toaster oven on 24/7.  I want ALL my devices to be ready at a moment's notice and operating at peak performance.

I catch my wife, now and then, shutting down the toaster oven.  Mentions "safety concerns". Go figure.  Maybe it's time to upgrade her and the toaster oven?

Also, even when listening to mono, I turn on all the "toys" and consume massive amounts of energy from all 9-channels for a glorius, engulfing surround sound experience (with 4 active subs).  Listen in thet dark?  Heck no.  Got a full array of commercial grade 600w metal halide lamps in the ceiling to create the atmosphere of a sunny day on the bench in my listening room.  To save energy, I only use a bank of electric space heaters on cloudy days.
