Moon North Collection Versus Pass Labs X350 - Which would have that liquid sound?

Question.... Has anyone heard both the Moon Amp 861/891 preamp and the Pass Labs X350 amp and x22 preamp?

I would like to know which one would have more of a liquid sound?

I'm a lttle unsure of exactly what liquid is, but having been an owner of a Pass x350 for many years... I would say look at a Pass XA amp, not the X series.

@dman777 I do not. Have an Accuphase system now, which is like the best of Pass and latest moon with its own twist.

@audiopacer Wow, that saids a lot about Accuphase. Do you mind sharing what Accuphase model(s) you are using?

And what streamer/DAC are you using with it?

Would you  say that this is your end game system or do you think you might switch it out later?

Sure thing. Amp is P-7500 and preamp is C-2900. Waiting at this very moment for the delivery of DP-770 SACD player. The 770 has multiple digital inputs. I have decided to move away from streaming as primary source of music consumption. Later next week I will test out a cheap Zen 3 Streamer which has native Tidal and is a Roon endpoint. I think the Zen is also JPLAY compatible. It should do the job which is background music and discovery from time to time.

I am extremely satisfied with the Accuphase amplification and see no reason to search for anything else at this point. But I’ve said that before 😝, no seriously the Accuphase gear is phenomenal- I love it to pieces
