Linlai E 6sn7 tubes

I just placed an order for a pair of these for my Aric Audio Motherlode II.  I’ve been chatting with a fellow that runs the E 6sn7 in his Don Sachs pre. He loves them, He says they make his NOS tubes sound thin and lifeless.  
    It will be a couple weeks until I receive them,and I was curious if anyone out in Agon land has tried these,and what are your impressions?

@sls883 I found the sound I love from my K/R Chrome top JANs in the Aero.I rather spend my money on NOS tubes, than take a chance on the Ray Reserves. Like I said: The Global Es are front runners for me! YMMV

@danmar123 my friend bought the Aero new with the Ray Reserve tubes. He’s only had the dac for a week, or two. He was going to try his Linlai in it, but he dropped one on his granite counter and it broke.  He has a number of other tubes that he can try as well.

I’m like you. I can’t bring myself to spend the money on Ray Reserve tubes.

FWIW, I am able to use the lid of my LTA MicroZotl preamp with the Linlai E-6SN7 tubes. It’s the newer lid with the larger holes.

I just have that feeling that the R/R tubes are rebranded Psvane UK 6sn7. Just like when the LinLai 6sn7 Globals just came out, we had a shootout & most of us preferred the sound of tubes from LinLai & Grant Fidelity instead of Aliexpress/Flee bay.
