Count me as another fan of the Yggy. I had a LiM also and really loved it. It is absolutely the best bang for the buck DAC out there, IMO. I only sold it because the internet kept telling me I could improve on it. Well, I did, but it cost me almost $6K (Holo May KTE), and it's still not night and day better. I'm done with the DAC merry-go-round until I can afford the Immersive mentioned above, and that won't be anytime soon as I have other upgrades I want to do first. I'd also really like to hear the Bggy. If I suddenly had to sell off a lot of my system I could easily go back to some form of the Yggy/Bggy. I REALLY wish they'd put an I2S output on it though. I know, they're very proud of their USB implementation, and rightly so, but I'd still like to have that option.
Schiit Yggy DAC is . . . wow
I have been chasing a digital sound for about 10 years and I finally found it. Sprung for a Schiit Yggdrasil DAC (Less is More option) and I haven't been able to get off my couch since I set it up. I have Spatial Open Baffle M5 speakers and I never knew how good they could sound until now. My streamer is a Wiim Ultra, which allowed me the budget for the $2,200 DAC. I have to sing the praises of this DAC. Wanted to recommend it to anyone who might be looking for a streaming upgrade. Don't listen to anyone saying all DACs sound the same. If that were true, I'd be outdoors shooting baskets right now instead of glued to my couch, listening to every playlist I own to hear it again for the first time.

@buellrider97 The OG is the most recent version of the A1 or A2 that you own. Since it was a low serial number, I think it would be the A1. The folks on here can tell you with certainty. The new Schiit DAC designers are also on this thread. Schiit Yggdrasil Impressions thread | Page 991 | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org
