FROM LUMIN U2 MINI TO LUMIN U2 IS THIS A WORTHWHILE UPGRADE

I currently have the Lumin U2 mini with a LHY Linear power supply.  I just listented to Steve Huff's comparison of the Lumin U2 mini and the Lumin U2.   He concluded,( even though the processor and clock are the same,) the difference in sound is substantial. Any thoughts as to whether this is a worthwhile upgrade would be appreciated. The next upgrade from the U2 is the U2X, which is over double the price and puts this out of reach. By the way, the U2 mini retails for $2500.00 and the Us for about $5000.00.  Thanks for your input.

Upscale Audio has a 60 day return period. You could buy the Lumin U2 and return it if not a substantial improvement over the mini. I bought the U2 and found it was a worthwhile upgrade from the Ultra Rendu I was using which was fed by a fiber optic cable.

I started out with a INNUOS pulse mini w/lps, then got the pulse. My only regret was that I didn’t save for a few more seconds to get the pulsar. I’m pretty sure you will only find yourself in the same predicament. I will say, though that I am completely happy with the upgrade. I am sure it will be the same for you.

and keeping with the post above me, upscale audio will do trade-ins.
