question for ATC SCM40v2 owners? tri wiring?

I wondered the same with my SCM19v2. 

Rather than bi- or in your case tri-wiring I believe it is recommended to get one set of the best speaker cables and jumpers of equal quality in place of the factory binding post plates.

Bi-amping or tri-amping is of course a whole other matter.

I have tried the bi and try wiring of the ATC models mentioned and I cannot hear much difference when using the same wire x2 or X3.  

I hear a lot of difference by switching out different types of cable - just one cable-between amp and speaker.  

I think there are a lot of elements in a system that can make a far bigger difference than bi or tri wiring, such as working on getting your room better or getting larger power amp or buying a better phono cartridge.

Instead of spending $$$ on getting 3 amps and a special pre-amp and 3 sets of cables, get the best cables you can afford together with good jumpers.
