The $250 power cables and $600 power strip that dethroned my $10k Shunyata Everest

Hello fellow audiophiles. I've been using products from QSA Lanedri who I believe offer the best price to performance ratio on the market today for their power and signal cables. You may have heard of Quantum Science Audio fuses and might even have some installed in your system. QSA Lanedri have perfected this technology/treatment and are now offering it in their power and signal products. The line of products in particular is called Veridion Discovery which is their most affordable line. I currently own 2 Veridion Discovery power strips (daisy chained), 8 power cables, 3 ethernet cables, 1 DC cable. Initially I was sent a power and ethernet cable to try and was so impressed I ordered more including the power strips. I have been comparing their power cables to much more expensive cables from Audioquest and Furutech. I've also been comparing their power strip to my Shunyata Everest power conditioner and found I prefer the Discovery power strip. Infact I'm in the process of trading in my Shunyata Everest and corresponding Sigma X power cable for either a better integrated amplifier or speakers. Once you pair up Discovery power cables with the Discovery power strip things improve dramatically. Not only does audio improve but picture quality and home cinema improves also and will challenge anything at any price. I will say the Discovery line requires a few days of continuous use or "burn in" period before proper evaluation. I compared their Ethernet cables to the likes of Audioquest Diamond and Wireworld Platinum Starlight 8 and again preferred the Discovery line. Through the Discovery products music sounds cleaner and clearer with a heightened sense of realism. This also applies to film and TV. Compared to the Shunyata Everest picture quality is now cleaner with more vibrant colours. Motion and panning shots are improved with less stutter. I will add that I have the power strips on Auva EQ CSA1 isolation footers. All of my equipment is sitting on Auva EQ footers which I found were better than the Isoacoustic Oreo footers I had previously. The Discovery products look very basic and don't scream high end but from my experience they can go toe to toe with the best at very affordable prices! They offer a 30 day money back guarantee for peace of mind. Definitely worth a look. Cheers.

Look, those of us who do believe cables make a difference will never be converted by unsolicited interjections and snarky comments. You have a polar opposite approach to audio and we don’t agree with your views.

By the same token, the cable believers will never be able to convince the objectivist/ASR crowd with our subjective comments. If a cable believer jumped in an objectivist conversation and started with the snarky comments that would also be wrong.

But here is the thing.. personally speaking, I don’t care to change your views, and you shouldn’t care about changing my views. We are talking about audio cables, not world peace. I can spend my money as I like.

I think the subjectivist/objectivist audio debates are a total waste of time. Who cares if you believe differently about this audio hobby?

In general terms, I agree with the sentiment you expressed in your post, and I think most folks here do as well.

Few people in this day and age really believe that cables cannot have any effect on a system’s sound quality, and those who do would do well to reconsider the facts.

However, this is not a discussion of cables in general. This is a thread that was started specifically to promote two far-out-of-the-cable-mainstream products: QSA Landeri’s Discovery power cord and power strips.

But like others, I agree that, no matter how preposterous the prompt, one should be able to make their point without resorting to questionable tactics such as personal insults, ad hominem attacks, or lobbying behind the scenes to have posts you simply don’t agree with deleted.

There are a couple of elephants in this room that that are worth addressing, imo.

After reading this post and all the responses I decided to try the power strip and one power cord.
My set up McIntosh MA 352 Eversolo Ds8

Turntable Kenwood L07d

Speakers Klipsch Horns 88 version no changes to the

speakers.

I used the power cord on the Mac not the Eversolo

I have been pleasantly impressed  I am also of the camp that cords did not make a difference  I was wrong  The power strip acting as a power conditioner has had a huge impact on my system

Thank you to the original poster

I have one question what are the best spikes people are using

I have wood floors but am thinking of cutting a carpet piece and placing the power strip on it

What do people think who have used this power strip?

@martinl07d

I'm pleased to hear the Discovery power cable and power strip is having a positive impact in your system. How is it affecting the sound, what changes did you hear? I'm interested to know your findings, it might help other users here also.

If you have a rack and have space to accommodate the power strip I would definitely try it there. Orea isoacoustics graphite footers would be a good place to start to put the power strip on. You would only need two and they are relatively inexpensive.

I definitely hear a cleaner more detailed sound.
My focus has been vinyl (I used a Hana Blue Cart )

I have used the Hana for over 200 hours so I am familiar with the sound.
The Power Strip and PC brought the sound forward.
This has been the best money I have spent on audio in many years.
Next I move to my streamer /DAC.
Thank you for the original post.
I have the PS on my rack

I looked up the footers could you share the link on which ones you use?
