Expensive sure but less than acora or focal or Wilson audio considerably but with better performance and durability
Granite enclosure
I build granite enclosures for home audio and car audio for loud speakers and subwoofers I've had them tested and they are usually between 3-7 DB louder and the speakers themselves run 25% cooler temperature during long play times and the harmonic distortion is drastically lower is anyone interested in having that kind of stuff built for them

I always thought Granite cabinets might sound good and be cool. I can imagine going to GR Research and buying their NX-Otica DIY kit, then, sending the flat pack cabinet kit to @earthtone to create the granite cabinet mimicing the flat pack. Not sure what the outcome would be, and I am not in the market for speakers (happy with my Wilsons), nor a DIY speaker guy, but, it just got my imagination going. |
