Low Cost Turntable - Incredible Performance

I highly recommend the Pioneer PL-30-K Belt Drive Line Output Automatic Turntable. Amazon offers for $400 but new in box are $299 on eBay now. I owned higher-end TTs and I can say this TT sounds as good. It is not well known compared to other brands, Replace the low end AT3600 cartridge though. A bonus is it is fully automatic. IMO you cannot go wrong with this purchase.

"I don’t know what you’d have to spend for a comparable newer tt, but I bet it’s a lot more than I paid for my Denon!"

Definitely agree with this guy....

"I happen to still believe you're better off investing in some of the used direct drive tables of the 80s and 90s"

I couldn't agree more. My new to me Sony PS-X50 is awesome with a wow/flutter of 0.025.

And yet... you posted in a public forum, seeking validation....

Just saw this... I bought a Sony PS-X50 a while back, a real nice product. Except it is not completely functioning. Servo and some other stuff isn't working properly. Do you know, or for that matter, does anyone on this forum have any technical info on fixing this issue?
